"Hard Line" Byron Brady

Height: 6'4''

Weight: 250lbs

Birthdate: 5-19-73

Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Favorite Arena: Pittsburgh's Civic Arena

Setup Move: A power slam with opponent coming off of the ropes. The opponent is then dazed enough to be lifted into the Steel City Suplex, Byron's favorite finisher.

Finishing Move: Steel City Suplex. A hanging suplex held from 3 to 5 seconds. Instead of dropping the wrestler back, Byron brings him down and turns the move into a piledriver.

Manager: Kelly Lynn Gallaher grew up in a small, rural community about an hour north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was into athletics early, and in fact, took home a degree in Sports Law from Penn State Univ. Something about wrestling attracted her, and she became infatuated with the sport as a teen ager. She knew that she was destined to be a wrestling agent when she had completed her schooling. While she has had many clinets, Byron is the first she has guided out of the coal fields of Pennsylvania and into the limelight. Kelly's sole interests are with Byron these days.

Wrestler History: Byron Brady comes from the rugged, blue collar region of western Pennsylvania. His entire life has been a struggle due to the constant economic pressures his family existed under. Both of his parents had died by the time Byron was 20. A top high school wrestler, Byron was lucky enough to gain an academic scholarship to the Univ. of California at San Diego, where he majored in Sports Training. After returning to PA. at the age of 21, Byron got into professional wrestling and toured the Northeast circuit for a little over 3 years before meeting his manager, Kelly Lynn Gallaher. She was able to take him out of the small Eagle's Halls and community centers and bring him to two very prestigious federations: AICW and Georgia Regional Wrestling. Byron has been the Southern States champion in GRW, which is the fed's highest honor and continues to wrestle his brand of combat here in AICW.

Wrestler Profile: Byron believes in the honesty, hard work and integrity that defines the word "sportsmanship". He DETESTS those who need to take short cuts to make any headway. He has nicknamed himself "Hard Line" because that's a path he has often traveled, and that's the path he wants to make ANY opponent of his in the ring travel. His philosophy is there are no free lunches and no easy ways around life, so why should there be any in wrestling?

Theme Song:
"The Great American Nightmare" by White Zombie from the "Private Parts" soundtrack.

AICW 20 Random Questions: AKA "THE ACID TEST"

What would you do if you met OJ Simpson in a dark alley? I'd ask the bastard what it feels like to cheat justice. Then, I'd challenge him to a forty yard dash where if he won, he could walk away and if he lost...well, he'd need SERIOUS help to walk away.
Who/what has been your biggest influence? Bruno Sammartino, the legend from my own neck of the woods. Strong, good speed and a TON of wrestling knowledge. One training session with him was all I needed to make up my mind about becoming a professional wrestler.
What is the worst thing that happened to you in your youth? My mother dying when I was 13. Enough said.
What is the worst pain you ever felt in your life? (physical/emotional) I've addressed emotional. Physical would be any of a number of brutal wrestling matches I have gone through in the past. I'm only 25 and I wake up every morning with some sore muscle or out of place joint, it seems.
If you could meet one person, at any point in history, who would it be? What would you say to them? Harry S. Truman. What would you say to them? Thank you for ending the horror that was World War II.
Boxers or briefs? Uhhhhh..is this relevant? Check my ring attire and you'll have your answer.
What is the greatest thing you've ever achieved? One is acheiving my degree at UCSD. The second would be when I came, literally out of nowhere, to win the AICW World Heavyweight Championship.
What is your favorite and least favorite foods? I absolutely LOVE stir fry! And I can't even THINK of eating any organs from an animal. Bleeeeeeeagh!
Favorite musicians/songs? Paul Weller is my favorite musician. I'm a throwback kid, so pick a handful of 70's Soul and I'm bound to like 90% of it.
Favorite movie? Rainman. Hands down.
If you had one wish, what would it be? That wrestling could be fought on an honest, clean playing field; that all rulebreakers and scum of this sport could be evicted.
Where do you see yourself in 10/20/50 years? Wheelchair, wheelchair, wheelchair. (Byron laughs)
If you went to McDonalds and found a rat in your burger, what would you do? I never eat at McDonalds. That crap will kill you.
What would you do if someone broke into your home? Break into their body.
If you weren't wrestling in the AICW, what would you be doing? I'd like to think I would be doing rehab work for some college or professional sports team. It's still a dream of mine. The only reason I have survived so long in this sport, having taking NUMEROUS beatings, is through my knowledge of sports medicine. That said, another 5 years in wrestling. at this rate, and I'll be pushing my way around.
Worst job you ever had? Mushroom miner to help earn tuition for college. I wasn't sure that I'd get a scholarship and finances have always been tight with my family. Paid good. Stank like ...well, you know.
Assuming there is a God, what will you say to him when you die? What in the Hell are you thinking most of the time?
What do you always keep in your fridge? Salad...lots of it. A variety of spices, because I like different tastes to my food. Club soda. (Byron laughes) I love the stuff!
What do you look for in a mate? I'm still asking that of myself. Reply Hazy. Check back later. (Byron grins)
If you could freeze all time and motion, what three things would you do? 1.) Made sure the bullet that slightly wounded Hitler in WW I was more fatal.
2.) IMPLORE my mother to give up cigarettes.
3.) Rifle through every possible govt. "For Eyes Only/Classified/Top Secret" type of file to see what all of us honest Americans DON'T know about our country.
